2264 – Permit Required Confined Space Entry

This Course is designed to increase students’ knowledge of hazards associated with confined space entry and and their environment.
Course objects:

• Define terms specific to permit-required confined space operations
• Identify curent standard governing permit-required confined space entry procedures
• Describe hazards associated with permit spaces
• Demonstrate the proper operation of certain testing instruments and explain their limitations
• Describe appropriate ventilation personal protective equipment and emergency procedures that are necessary for entry into permit spaces.
