511 - OSHA Standards for General Industry

This course is the prerequisite to the OTI 501 course. The course is for private sector personnel & covers OSHA policies, procedures, & standards, as well as general industry safety & health principles. Topics include scope & application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. OSHA's 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Safety Standard will be provided. Upon completion of the course, the participant will receive a General Industry Safety 30-hour course completion card.
